[livejournal.com profile] lance_nerd tagged me, so here goes:

You start with "6 weird habits/things about yourself" and people who get tagged need to write about their 6 weird habits/things as well as include these instructions. In the end, you need to choose the next 6 people to be tagged and list their names.

1. I LOVE sushi, but I hate all seafood other than tuna salad and California rolls. (Yes, silly midwesterners, there is sushi that does not involve seafood and it is delicious. Try some.)
2. I paid for my college education with money I made from the ages of 2-7. (I was a child actress in commercials.)
3. While I do not talk out loud, I frequently have mental conversations with people who are not there: Celebrities, fictional characters, old high school friends I haven't seen in years, people I can't get a hold of on the telephone, etc. This is done as an elaborate "What Would so-and-so Do" in order to work through problems, give myself advice, or just pass the long half hour on the elliptical machine every day.
4. I don't mind milk chocolate (candy bars and chocolate chips and stuff) but I hate chocolate cake and ice cream and brownies. Don't really like hot fudge on my ice cream either. Additionally, I love peanuts but hate them cooked into things or sprinkled on top of things.
5. I have never broken a bone in my body, despite years of sports, being a tomboy and general clumsiness. This includes the time I want sliding down a gravel road on my face after flipping over the handlebars of my bike, and the previously mentioned squishing my hand between a camera and bricks. (I blame the fact I drink so much milk. My mom drinks a similar amount of milk and is showing no signs of osteoporosis as she nears 60.) I have, however, broken a bone in someone else's body: I broke my brother's collarbone when I tripped and fell on him while playing outside one day. I think he was 8 or 9.
6. When I still lived by myself, I used to have a big glass of tea and a scone and watch something British (and usually period like Sharpe or Hornblower) every night right before bed. I have no memory of why I started doing this or why it became a nightly thing.

These were super hard to do. :P For this reason, I'm not tagging anyone in particular. But if you want to do this meme, go right ahead and consider yourself tagged!
