Went to go see Sicko today with my mom and was pleasantly surprised. Moore's editing is much better (not quite at it's Roger & Me montage best, but well paced) and he's laid-off of most of the awkward and uncomfortable Michael Moore stunts, other than the boat trip to Cuba.
Anyway, I recommend it. Definitely enjoyable (other than the first few minutes of the film showing at-home do it yourself surgery) and entertaining, and some awesome use of stock footage. He's using music a lot better too. The highs and lows were paced very well and the segues between segments were smooth, considering the ground her covered. It's, of course, one-sided, and the devil's advocate in me can find points to argue with, but at least he's started the mainstream discourse, you know?
Made me super homesick for Canada and made living in Britain and France look pretty sweet.
