Donors Choose blogging again...
Oct. 3rd, 2007 03:04 pmSo, apparently if the project you pick doesn't get completely funded, the money gets returned in the form of credits. This makes me sad for those poor AP kids in Texas who didn't even get the $60 they'd raised so far. I want to write the teacher or something and say post it again! Give your little nerds another chance!
... this whole thing is way too stressful. I get too attached.
Anyway, I need to use up my credits and so I have gone looking for another group of nerds to fund... and I think I have found them! Some little overachievers in Virginia have some very ambitious science projects in the offing: http://www.donorschoose.org/donors/proposal.html?id=109483
It's not as ideal as the other one for me... it's a magnet school rather than a regular high school and it's not low income like the other one was, but they were the biggest science nerds I could find. So I gave them $30. At least this project has until May 14th to get funding before I am guilt ridden by images of underfunded science geeks.
