...in conclusion, Frodo likes crappy pizza.

Went on a walk this evening around the neighborhood before it got too dark. Stopped at a place called "Menschie's" for really good frozen yogurt. It was a Fro-Yo bar. There were 8 flavors and you got your bowl and filled it with whatever flavors and toppings you wanted and then they weighed it. It's not the best I've ever had, but it was pretty good, and I applauded the variety.

Continued my quest to attempt to find a bottle of Oregon wine in LA. I have come to the conclusion that it cannot be done. I can find Washington wines from vinyards *RIGHT* across the border, but not a single bottle from Oregon. What gives, yo? I've been told we've got great Pinos!

Kept walking and decided to try this pizza place down the street called Joe Peeps. It's supposed to be pretty good, and they have the requisite autographed pictures of celebrities who love the place on the walls... along with a photo of Elijah Wood and the owner standing in the pizza parlor. (It should be stated that Elijah's eyes are inhumanly blue in this picture. It's like when you get red eye in a photo, but instead it's blue. They're, like, glowing, and he looks pretty evil because of it.) So, I was all, Frodo and Jack Lemmon and Tina Turner can't be wrong, gimme a slice of that pizza!

...What incredibly mediocre pizza. Boring sauce, not enough cheese. Blah. Barely wanted to finish it, and it was $2.25 a slice. Man, gimme 99 cent Vancouver pizza any day of the week. At least they played good music while I was there. Back in Black made the pizza taste a little better there for a moment. :D

Been listening to the new Coldplay album all day. All in all I would call it 'unoffensive.' Not too memorable so far, and I don't hear a single, but it's nice to listen to.

I've already asked a few folks, but I thought I'd spread the net a little wider and ask if any of you guys know what one might do with an original short story. I wrote one, and I really like it, but I'm not quite sure what I could do with it. (Publish it? Sell it? Enter a contest? Use it to get a literary agent so I can write for Supernatural?) It's around 2,200 words and post-apocalyptic.
