Music nerds, I need your help!

Okay, there was this song playing on the indie rock station a little over a year ago (sometime between January and April). I thought it might have been by Carolina Liar, but I looked at their songs and nothing looks familiar. I can't even remember a lyric from it, but the gist of the chorus, I believe, was that the singer and his girl were riding in a car at night, and there was something about orbits and how they could never get closer...

I know this is super vague, but if you can think of what it might be, I'd really appreciate it. I remember really liking it.
